After playing KBTL, it took me a bit to get adjusted to this game and I am still learning. They end up not taking actions many rounds and that is sort of a waste for what you get in bonus percentage damage.Īnyway, just keep at it and experiment a little. They seemed cool at first, but I end up not using them in combat as much while I try to use their special backstab or assassinate abilities. I'm not sure I would use Assassins again. I am carrying so many snake eggs, dragonfly eggs, sprouts, etc. If you don't care about army unit losses, this game has a lot of free units. I eventually unequiped the Officer Patent because I had much better Regalia items that I can use. Honestly, I haven't used the military academy services yet and I am probably 60% finished with my first play through. You can right click on that item and it will tell you how many trophies you have. The trophies you get from fighting with the Officer Patent equiped. I struggled more because I am playing a zero loss game and that makes it harder. Some units are better against certain enemies. If you are struggling, try different unit combinations. I also had some Sea Dogs in one of my reserve slots because they give you extra gold when you find it in piles or in chests. When I did start fighting, I had a Red Dragon, a Green Dragon, some Assassins, some Marauders, and some Inquisitors. That allowed me to gather a lot of leadership flags, items, spells, gold, runes, crystals, etc. I managed to unlock 5 islands before I had to fight a single combat. But like that game, you can run around enemies collecting stuff before engaging in combat. Especially compared to King's Bounty: The Legend. I struggled a bit with this game at first too.
